1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and Aetronomic Overseas Pvt Ltd, operating the Drmeets platform under the brand “Drmeets” (“Drmeets”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), with its registered office at A-201 Nextra The Address, District Centre, Mayur Vihar Ph-1 Ext, New Delhi — 110091, India.
By creating an account, completing registration, or otherwise accessing or using the Drmeets website, mobile experience, or related services (collectively, the “Platform”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.
2. Definitions
- “Doctor” means a registered, licensed medical practitioner who creates a profile on the Platform to receive and conduct meetings with MRs.
- “MR” means a Medical Representative or other pharmaceutical/healthcare industry professional who books and pays for meetings with Doctors through the Platform.
- “Meeting” means a scheduled, paid video consultation session between a Doctor and an MR conducted through the Platform.
- “Credits” means the prepaid, non-transferable unit of value used on the Platform to pay for Meeting time on a per-minute basis.
- “KYC” means the Know-Your-Customer identity, professional, and financial verification process required for account activation.
- “Content” means any information, documents, images, or communications submitted to or exchanged on the Platform.
3. About the Platform
Drmeets is a scheduling and communications platform that connects Doctors with MRs for structured, pay-per-minute video meetings. Drmeets provides the technology, verification, scheduling, billing, and video-conferencing infrastructure that facilitates these meetings.
Drmeets is not a telemedicine, patient-care, or medical-advice platform. Meetings facilitated on the Platform are business/professional interactions between Doctors and MRs and are not intended for, and must not be used for, diagnosing, treating, or providing medical advice to patients. Drmeets does not participate in, control, or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, or outcome of any discussion that takes place during a Meeting.
4. Eligibility
You may use the Platform only if you:
- are at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law;
- if registering as a Doctor, hold a valid and current registration with the applicable State Medical Council or Medical Council of India (or equivalent regulatory body);
- if registering as an MR, are authorized to represent the company, brand, or organization on whose behalf you are booking meetings;
- have not been previously suspended or removed from the Platform; and
- agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and KYC.
5. Account, Registration & KYC
Access to booking or accepting Meetings is subject to successful completion of our KYC process, which may require government-issued identity documents (such as Aadhaar or PAN), proof of medical registration or professional affiliation, and bank account details for payouts. Drmeets, or agents acting on our behalf, may verify this information before or after activation and may approve, reject, or request resubmission of any KYC application at its sole discretion.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@drmeets.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
6. Doctor & MR Obligations
Doctors agree to:
- maintain an accurate profile, specialty, and availability calendar;
- honor confirmed Meeting slots and join on time;
- conduct themselves professionally and provide only truthful, non-misleading information.
MRs agree to:
- use the Platform solely for legitimate professional/product-detailing purposes;
- maintain sufficient Credit balance before booking a Meeting;
- respect the Doctor’s time and comply with any applicable pharmaceutical marketing codes of conduct (such as the Uniform Code for Pharmaceuticals Marketing Practices, where applicable).
7. Credits, Fees & Payments
MRs purchase Credits in advance through the payment methods supported on the Platform. Credits are deducted from the MR’s balance based on the actual duration of each Meeting, calculated on a per-minute basis at the rate displayed at the time of booking. Doctors are compensated for completed Meeting time in accordance with the payout schedule communicated on the Platform.
Credits are non-transferable between accounts and hold no cash value except as expressly provided in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change pricing prospectively at any time; changes will not affect Credits already purchased.
8. Scheduling & Video Meetings
Meetings are conducted through the Platform’s integrated, encrypted video-calling infrastructure. You agree not to move a Meeting to any third-party communication tool once initiated through the Platform.
Recording notice: Meetings conducted on the Platform may be recorded for quality assurance, dispute resolution, safety, and compliance purposes. By joining a Meeting, you consent to such recording and to Drmeets’ retention and use of the recording as described in our Privacy Policy.
You must not share personal contact details (phone number, personal email, messaging handles) during a Meeting, and must not solicit or accept solicitation to continue the relationship outside the Platform. Doing so is a material breach of these Terms and may result in suspension or termination under Section 18.
9. Cancellations, No-Shows & Refunds
Meeting fees are non-refundable once a session has begun. Rescheduling, cancellation windows, no-show penalties, and refund eligibility for Meetings that do not begin are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, available on the Platform, which forms part of these Terms by reference.
10. Code of Conduct
You must not, and must not attempt to:
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, credentials, or affiliation;
- upload false, fraudulent, or forged KYC or verification documents;
- use the Platform for any unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or abusive purpose;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, verification, billing, or recording features;
- scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the Platform; or
- solicit patients, sell products directly, or conduct activities unrelated to professional Doctor–MR interaction during a Meeting.
Violation of this Section may result in immediate suspension or termination and forfeiture of unused Credits.
11. Verification & Content Disclaimer
While Drmeets performs KYC checks on Doctors and MRs, we do not independently verify every claim, statement, or piece of Content shared during a Meeting, and we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or clinical validity of any information exchanged. Any professional, product, or clinical claims made during a Meeting are the sole responsibility of the party making them.
12. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, software, logos, trademarks (including “Drmeets”), and underlying technology, is the property of Aetronomic Overseas Pvt Ltd and its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
13. Third-Party Services
The Platform relies on third-party infrastructure providers for functions such as video conferencing, cloud hosting, authentication, notifications, and payment processing. Your use of the Platform is also subject to the applicable terms of those providers where you interact with their services directly (for example, during payment). Drmeets is not responsible for outages or issues originating solely from third-party providers.
14. Confidentiality
Any non-public information shared between a Doctor and an MR during a Meeting, or with Drmeets in connection with KYC or account administration, should be treated as confidential and used only for the purpose for which it was shared. Drmeets personnel and agents accessing such information for verification, support, or compliance purposes are bound by confidentiality obligations.
15. Data Protection & Privacy
Our collection, use, storage, and disclosure of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described there.
16. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drmeets disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Drmeets, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from your use of the Platform, the conduct of any other User, or the content of any Meeting. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Drmeets in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Drmeets and Aetronomic Overseas Pvt Ltd, and their respective officers, employees, and agents, from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, or violation of any law or third-party right.
18. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, provided false information, engaged in fraudulent activity, or posed a risk to other Users or the Platform. You may deactivate your account at any time by contacting support@drmeets.com, subject to settlement of any pending Meetings, payouts, or Credit balances.
19. Force Majeure
Drmeets shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet or telecommunications outages, government action, or failures of third-party infrastructure providers.
20. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection forum, courts at New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform.
21. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or via email where feasible.
