Cancellation and Refund Policy

Appointment Cancellation Policy

By the User (MR or Doctor):
  • Cancellations are allowed up to 8 hours before the scheduled appointment.
  • If cancelled within this time window, 100% of the amount will be refunded to the user's wallet.
  • Cancellations made less than 8 hours before the scheduled time will not be eligible for a refund.
By the User (MR or Doctor):

We reserve the right to cancel an appointment due to:

  • Technical issues on our platform
  • Doctor's sudden unavailability
  • Incomplete KYC or suspicious account activity

In such cases, users will be notified promptly and provided a full refund or an option to reschedule within 24 hours.

No-Show Policy

  • If the doctor does not show up for the scheduled appointment, the MR will receive:
    • A 100% refund to their wallet or
    • An option to reschedule the appointment within the next 24 hours based on the doctor's availability.
  • If the MR fails to join the call without prior cancellation, the appointment will be marked as missed, and no refund will be issued.

Refund Process

  • Approved refunds are credited only to the user's Drmeet wallet.
  • Wallet funds can be used to book future appointments on the platform.
  • Refunds are typically processed within 24-48 hours.

Wallet Loading & Non-Refundable Amounts

  • Funds added to the Drmeet wallet via UPI, debit/credit card, or net banking are nonrefundable, except when:
    • The user cancels an appointment within the allowed window
    • A system error or double charge occurs

Rescheduling Policy

  • If a technical issue or doctor's unavailability interrupts a call, Drmeet will:
    • Arrange a new appointment within 24 hours
    • Or issue a full refund if rescheduling is not possible
